Danhostel Silkeborg

The hostel had a variety of amenities, including a kitchen, restaurant, laundry room, BBQ. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the center, a supermarket, the river, the forest. the showers were great and the kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary utensils.

The atmosphere at the hostel was quite sterile and unfriendly. During my stay, there was only a group of school kids and their teachers, so it lacked social interaction.

The hostel is conveniently located, with easy access to the city center, supermarkets, the river, the forest, and the train station. It is only a short distance away from cafes, bars, and outdoor activities such as canoeing and mountain biking. the staff is friendly and helpful, and the communal kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary utensils. the rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated.

The atmosphere was unfriendly and sterile, with a lot of do and don'ts signs. The reception was only open for short periods, making it difficult to purchase or drink alcohol. not a very social hostel.
